Injected at five defined points per side using the BAP technique, chosen because they allow the product to spread safely and evenly through the tissue. Treats overall skin quality, laxity and hydration rather than any individual line.

The areas that give age away most reliably and that most patients neglect entirely. Thin skin here responds particularly well, since it has little intrinsic hydration reserve of its own.

A dedicated higher-volume formulation for the abdomen, inner upper arms and above the knees — areas where skin laxity is common after weight change or with age. This is a separate product from the facial kit, not the same syringe used elsewhere.
Candidacy

Skin quality, hydration and laxity are assessed, and Profhilo is distinguished from what a filler or a resurfacing treatment would achieve — they are frequently confused.

The five bio-aesthetic points per side are marked. These are anatomically defined for safe, even spread, not chosen by where lines appear.

Optional, and many patients decline. The product contains no lidocaine, so a brief sting at each point is normal.

Avoid makeup, exercise, heat and facial massage for twenty-four hours so the product spreads evenly rather than being displaced.

Benefits
Profhilo is not a filler and will not restore volume, lift or change contour — patients expecting that will be disappointed. Small raised blebs at the injection points are visible for a few hours, and occasional bruising can occur. The two-session protocol must be completed for the full effect, and results last six to nine months before repeat treatment is needed. Recovery
Day 0

No, and this is the most important distinction to understand. A filler is cross-linked so it holds its shape and adds volume where placed. Profhilo has no cross-linking, so it spreads through the tissue to hydrate and remodel the skin. It will not lift, project or change your contour.
